Description

Eliminate Tedious Layout Work

When you are bolting down heavy machinery or installing continuous runs of steel railing, constantly lifting and shifting materials to mark drill holes is exhausting and inefficient. Every time you move a heavy baseplate, you risk slight misalignments that can ruin your installation.

The Ultimate "Through Fixing"

These ZYP throughbolts solve this exact problem. They are engineered as true "through fixings." This means the hole you drill into the concrete is the exact same diameter as the bolt itself.

You simply place your bracket or metal structure exactly where you want it, drill directly through the fixture's pre-drilled clearance hole into the concrete, drop the bolt in, and tighten it down. It is a massive time-saver for any professional tradesperson.

Unyielding Expansion Grip

Strength is just as important as speed. Once you drop the anchor in and apply a wrench, it acts as a torque-controlled fixing. As you tighten the nut, the central bolt is pulled upward.

This action forces the three-way expansion sleeve to spread outward, gripping aggressively against the sides of the concrete hole. You get an incredibly secure, immediate mechanical lock that easily handles heavy static loads.

Built for Professional Safety

Working on commercial sites means adhering to strict safety and durability standards. These robust steel anchors carry a Reaction to Fire Class A1 rating, ensuring maximum safety for structural steelwork and critical brackets.

Additionally, the tough Zinc and Yellow Plated (ZYP) finish features a minimum 5µm thickness. This provides excellent resistance against everyday workshop wear, keeping your installations looking professional and structurally sound for the long haul.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to move my heavy bracket to drill the hole?

No, that is the biggest advantage of a throughbolt. Because the bolt diameter is exactly the same as the drill size, you simply drill straight through the existing clearance hole in your bracket directly into the concrete.

Can I use these in brick or block walls?

No, these anchors require extremely dense, solid base materials to expand correctly without blowing out. They are engineered exclusively for use in solid, non-cracked concrete.

Does the nut and washer come with the bolt?

Yes, throughbolts come fully assembled with the correct threaded nut and flat washer, so they are ready to tap into the hole and torque down right out of the box.
