Designed for wood, metal, stone, ceramics, glass, foam, leather, and more, it fills gaps while it bonds thanks to its unique foaming action, ensuring superior coverage—up to 3 times more than standard glues.
With a 20-minute open working time, you have plenty of flexibility for precise application. Once bonded, materials need to be gripped together for 1-2 hours using clamps, heavy objects, or Gorilla Tape® to ensure the strongest possible hold. The glue fully cures in 24 hours, creating a sandable, stainable, paintable, and varnishable surface for seamless finishing.
Completely waterproof and temperature-resistant, this adhesive won’t break down in rain, snow, extreme heat, or freezing cold, making it ideal for outdoor repairs and heavy-duty applications. I ordered my Commando 35 in preference to an imported magdrill because I still believe in buying British. If the UK population won't buy British products then why should anyone else?
I was impressed with the solid build quality and functionality of the drill.
I do think that some design features could be improved on. The handles for example have the be removed to put the machine back in the case. Why not use a ratchet system? Also there is little clearance with longer bits, a taller track would have been good. Admittedly it is the entry level magdrill and despite my niggles I'm very pleased with my purchase.
As with all Ambersil products you get a quality product.
