Classic Craftsmanship Meets Modern Durability

When your work environment demands the utmost resilience from your footwear, modern glued soles can sometimes fall short. The Rock Fall Bale RF207 addresses this by utilizing traditional Goodyear Welted construction.  This time honoured shoemaking technique involves stitching the upper leather, lining, and welt (a strip of leather or rubber) together, before stitching the heavy duty outsole directly to the welt. This mechanical bond ensures exceptional durability, prevents sole separation, and provides superior lateral support on uneven ground. It is a testament to timeless craftsmanship, resulting in a boot that is built to survive the rigors of farm yards, stables, and rugged agricultural terrain.

Uncompromising On-The-Job Protection

Safety is never an afterthought with Rock Fall. The Bale RF207 is heavily fortified to protect the wearer from unpredictable daily hazards. The front of the foot is shielded by a robust steel protective toecap, guarding against heavy impacts and compression from dropped tools or livestock. Beneath the foot, an exclusively crafted Activ-Step® penetration-resistant midsole acts as a vital shield against sharp objects like nails, wire, and glass. Ground contact is managed by a tough Nitrile Rubber outsole. This specialized rubber compound provides exceptional grip on wet, muddy, and oily surfaces, ensuring you stay upright and secure when working in challenging outdoor conditions.

Sustainable Comfort for Long Shifts

Working long hours on your feet requires footwear that supports your body and aligns with modern environmental standards. Rock Fall has engineered this boot to reduce wearer fatigue through the inclusion of an Activ-Step® cushioned insole, which boasts superior shock absorption properties to ease the strain on your joints. Furthermore, the Bale RF207 takes significant strides in sustainability. The durable leather upper is sourced from an LWG Gold certified tannery, ensuring environmentally responsible leather manufacturing. Inside, the breathable mesh lining is woven from GRS-certified recycled post-consumer polyester, and the internal heel stiffener utilizes 60% recycled TPU. This means you can rely on premium comfort and protection while actively reducing supply chain waste.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the benefit of a Goodyear Welted sole?

Goodyear welting is a premium construction method where the sole is stitched to a "welt" rather than simply being glued to the upper. This creates a much stronger, highly water-resistant bond that drastically increases the lifespan of the boot, making it ideal for heavy-duty outdoor work.

Are these boots suitable for agricultural and farm work?

Yes, absolutely. The Bale RF207 was specifically designed with farriers, agricultural workers, and equine professionals in mind. The tough nitrile rubber outsole offers excellent traction in mud and is highly resistant to oils and farm chemicals.

How heavy is this boot?

The shoe weight is 1075g. While heavier than a composite safety trainer, this weight reflects the heavy-duty materials used—such as thick LWG Gold leather, a solid steel toe cap, and the dense Nitrile Rubber outsole—required to provide maximum protection in hazardous environments.
