Performance is further enhanced by the cushioned EVA midsole, which provides excellent impact reduction, and the high-performing Activ-Step® Adherence™ rubber outsole skin, delivering superior grip on a variety of surfaces. This outsole has undergone rigorous testing against common workplace contaminants such as cooking oil, fuel oil, and water, as well as on tile and steel surfaces, achieving extremely high slip resistance results that exceed standard requirements. I ordered my Commando 35 in preference to an imported magdrill because I still believe in buying British. If the UK population won't buy British products then why should anyone else?
I was impressed with the solid build quality and functionality of the drill.
I do think that some design features could be improved on. The handles for example have the be removed to put the machine back in the case. Why not use a ratchet system? Also there is little clearance with longer bits, a taller track would have been good. Admittedly it is the entry level magdrill and despite my niggles I'm very pleased with my purchase.
As with all Ambersil products you get a quality product.
