Overview

J-Fix spin-in glass capsules offer a high-performance, expansion-free anchoring solution for solid concrete and stone. Formulated with fast-curing epoxy acrylate and quartz aggregate, they deliver exceptional load-bearing strength. These ETA Option 1 approved capsules are perfect for securing heavy structural steel and machinery, even in wet or flooded holes.

How it works

Installing these capsules is quick and reliable. First, drill your hole to the required size and thoroughly clean out the dust. Drop the unopened glass capsule into the hole. Using a power drill with a specialized drive adaptor, slowly spin your threaded stud down into the hole. This spinning action crushes the glass, mixing the resin with the hardener and the quartz aggregate. Detach the drill, leave the stud completely undisturbed while the resin cures, and you are ready to apply your heavy load.

Ultimate Load-Bearing Power

When you are installing structural steelwork or safety barriers, failure is simply not an option. Traditional mechanical anchors rely on outward pressure, which can split brittle masonry or damage concrete when installed too close to the edge.

These J-Fix spin-in glass capsules completely remove that risk. Instead of expanding, they use a high-performance epoxy acrylate resin mixed with coarse quartz aggregate to create an incredibly solid chemical bond.

Built for the Toughest Site Conditions

Site conditions are rarely perfect, and these capsules are engineered for reality. You can confidently install them in damp, wet, or even completely flooded holes without sacrificing their holding power.

The real magic of this chemical system is its long-term resilience. Once the resin cures, the bond is exceptionally strong and naturally resists constant, vibrating loads from heavy industrial machinery or racking systems.

Tested and Certified Reliability

When structural integrity is on the line, you need materials you can trust. These capsules carry full ETA Option 1 approval, meaning they have passed rigorous testing for both cracked and non-cracked concrete.

Whether you are mounting Juliet balconies on a residential build or securing massive formwork support systems, you get predictable, certified strength. Fast, reliable, and incredibly strong, it’s the smart way to anchor heavy loads.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a special tool to install these capsules?

Yes, you need a drive adaptor attached to a power drill. The threaded stud must be physically spun into the capsule to properly crush the glass and mix the two-part chemical resin.

Can I use these anchors close to the edge of a concrete slab?

Absolutely. Because they are completely expansion-free and bond chemically to the base material, they do not create outward outward stress. This makes them perfect for safe, close-to-edge installations.

How long do I have to wait before putting weight on the anchor?

You must wait for the resin to fully cure before applying any load or tightening the nut. The exact curing time depends heavily on the temperature of the base material, so always check the manufacturer's curing chart provided with the capsules.
