Description
The Rock Fall Michigan RF112 redefines what a safety trainer can be. Unlike traditional bulky safety boots, the Michigan offers a sleek, athletic-inspired design that looks casual but performs to the highest safety standards. Its ergonomic collar is specifically engineered to reduce stress on the back of the ankle, making it especially suited for drivers or anyone who spends long hours on their feet.
Built with a water-repellent leather upper, the Michigan provides durability and protection against the elements. Inside, recycled polyester linings, textiles, and laces reflect Rock Fall’s commitment to sustainability, while the Activ-Step® recycled foam footbed enhances breathability and comfort.
For protection, the Michigan features a lightweight fibreglass toecap that shields against impact without adding unnecessary weight. Beneath your feet, the para-aramid anti-perforation midsole, exclusively developed by Activ-Step® Footwear Components, prevents sharp objects from penetrating the sole while keeping the trainer flexible and light.
Comfort is further enhanced by the bio-based EVA cushioned midsole, which contains 61% USDA BioPreferred® certified content. This advanced midsole absorbs shocks and impacts, reducing fatigue whether you’re walking on concrete floors or uneven outdoor terrain.
The outsole is where the Michigan truly excels. The Activ-Step® Adherence rubber outsole has been tested beyond European and UK standards using the SATRA TM144:2021 method. It delivers outstanding slip resistance against contaminants such as cooking oil, fuel oil, water, glycerine, and cleaning agents, across surfaces including quarry tiles, ceramic tiles, steel, and vinyl.
At just 558g per shoe and with a 5-inch height, the Michigan is lightweight, supportive, and versatile—perfect for workers who demand both style and performance.
